Biowaste Recovery Ltd (BRL) is a leading technologically-based environmental company which has developed a highly efficient aerobic digestion system to convert biodegradable biowaste into environmentally benign and easily-disposable materials. BRL has commercialised its north Kent system fully and has gained significant experience in the field. The BRL Biotech Process was approved by the Environment Agency in 2002, and is licensed by DEFRA for Category 3 Animal By-Products Waste in compliance with the current UK and EU Animal By-Product Regulations.
BRL provides complete and sustainable solutions for the safe disposal of food and green waste materials from many sources, including local authorities, food-processing companies, caterers, and supermarkets. We offer collection of both solid and liquid organic wastes prior to their treatment in our Kent plant, and final product disposal to arable agricultural and horticultural lands.
BRL provides complete disposal of unwanted biowastes and complies with all the latest legislation. BRL ensures that its activities cause no damage to the soil and watercourses, and that the use of BRL-treated materials on farmland has benefit to agriculture. The health of people, animals and plants is not affected by using BRL-treated biowaste products.
